Do we have to host our site on your server to use your services?

Yes, in order to provide the best service possible, we have to be in control of the server environment. Without that, we cannot perform backups, offer an efficient Content Delivery Network, provide 24/7 site monitoring, or server level security features.

Why is there a migration fee?
Moving a site from one host to another requires a lot of steps. While we have a very efficient process, we still encounter the occasional unforeseen issues. Incompatible plugins, different php environments, or custom code someone put on your site that isn’t allowed on our dedicated server. The migration fee covers these things.
I already use WP Engine, do I have to pay the migration fee?
No! If you’re already on WP Engine, we can migrate your site for free.
Will you point our DNS records for us?

Sure! When we call to discuss the migration, we’ll find out who your registrar is and where you are currently hosting. Once you give us access, we can take it from there.

Do you offer other services - design, marketing, seo, or custom development?

We are available to do custom development (coding) work on a case by case basis. You can reach out to our team anytime if you have a request. We can do anything from custom plugins to headless wordpress implementations. As far as other services, we believe it’s important to do one thing and do it well. Agencies often claim to be able to do it all and usually aren’t particularly good at any of it. If you need other services, we can point you in the right direction though. 23 years in the business has given us a lot of great contacts.

How much do you charge for custom development work?

Contact us and tell us about your project. We estimate every job on an hourly basis and charge $100 / hr. With a better understanding of your project we can give you a very accurate estimate.

Do you have a multi site discount?
If you have multiple sites you’d like us to host and maintain, contact us and we can come to an agreement.
I represent an agency. If we use your services, can we still make content updates?
Of course! In fact, we’ll even make your life easier by giving you a single sign on to all your sites.
I want to make major changes to my site, does that impact our service?
Every customer will be setup with a dev, staging, and production (live) environment. That means you can do anything you want on staging, or dev, without it affecting your live site. We’ll keep your site going and clone the new one over when you’re ready. With no interruption in services.
Can we update, install, or change our own themes and plugins?
You are in charge of your site. We’re just here to help. However, if you choose to make your own updates, and things go wrong, it will be outside our Service Level Agreement to resolve. We can restore a backup for you as part of your SLA, but if you need more in depth troubleshooting it will be an additional fee.
How often do you do backups? Can I request one?
We’ll backup your site every 24 hours. If you’d like us to do a custom backup, we can do an extra one each day for free! Just reach out and let us know.
I messed up my site, can you restore a backup?
Absolutely! Simply reach out to us and give us a date to which you want your site restored.
